Audit, Architecture & IaC Setup
Deep-dived AWS billing to identify waste. Architected target state. Built Terraform modules for VPC, EKS cluster, node groups, IAM roles, and RDS Multi-AZ — all infrastructure defined as code before a single resource was provisioned.
Week 2–3
Kubernetes Migration & Dockerization
Containerized all application services with optimized multi-stage Docker builds. Created Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, HPA policies, and readiness/liveness probes. Migrated all workloads to EKS with zero-downtime blue/green strategy.
Week 3–4
CI/CD Pipeline & GitOps
Built end-to-end Jenkins pipeline with Trivy + Snyk security scanning gates. Implemented ArgoCD for GitOps — git repository became the single source of truth for all cluster state. Deployment time dropped from 3 days to under 20 minutes.
Week 4–5
FinOps Optimization
Replaced 100% On-Demand EC2 with an intelligent Spot + On-Demand mix. Implemented Cluster Autoscaler and HPA. Set up AWS Savings Plans and Reserved Instances for baseline capacity. CloudWatch cost anomaly detection added for bill shock prevention.
Week 5–6
Observability & Handover
Deployed Prometheus + Grafana with custom dashboards for infrastructure health, deployment status and cost tracking. PagerDuty on-call integration configured. Full documentation and team knowledge transfer completed. System handed over with 99.9% uptime SLA.
