Every vault entry is encrypted and decrypted in your browser using WebCrypto before it ever leaves your device. eMergence Cloud Solutions' own servers only ever store an encrypted blob — nobody on our side can read your passwords, keys or notes.
Vault items are secured with AES-256-GCM. Your personal encryption key is derived on-device with PBKDF2 at 600,000 iterations, so even a full database leak on our end would expose nothing usable without your master password.
